Stayed here in Amakan for 3D 2N accommodation, traveling solo. The place is just 5 min away from El Nido Terminal. Pros: budget friendly✔️ Courteous and helpful staff ✔️ (They allowed me to use the shower room to clean up even after I already checked out.) Rooms are quite tiny but the bed is good. Amenities: shower gel ✔️ Shampoo ✔️ Ac ✔️ Electric fan ✔️ Cons: No slippers provided No big mirror No breakfast (but there's free tea)

Location is Key! This is why Amakan is different from the others...Walking distance to Cafés, Resto, Bars and Shops. Plus you get to enjoy a quiet neighborhood.

Great place to stay in El Nido. It's located at the town proper, but not along the main strip. There are a lot of restaurants around the area. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Electricity and water supply was good. There were a few mosquitoes at night.

We had a lovely stay. Quiet, cool room. The best AC that we've had in the Philippines (totally silent). Friendly staff. Only downside is the bathroom is more of a wet room so expect we toes and there is no WiFi in the rooms. Overall we really enjoyed it here and would definitely come back.

We took a 4 bedroom private for 3 persons and it was a really small room, the toilet smelled with mold and the air-con took long time to get cold. The maintenance of the hostel room lacks and we had to carry our luggage 4 floors (there are 5 floors that are not covered with no elevator)

Taking a star off for rats, I don't know what are the hotel cats up to 🙄 Fan and A/C, shower curtain! If it had wifi in the room, it'd be perfect. During our stay the restaurant was closed, there is non-stop hot water jug, ginger tea jug and drinkable water dispenser. If you intend to wifi at reception in the evening, use repellent!

We stayed here for almost 3 weeks and it was a lovely stay. We decided to just stay and not change accomodation because the room was clean, the location is perfect as we were close to the town center but not on the main street that we would be bother by the noise of the tuktuk or the establishments. Pros Clean Staff were friendly and helpful and if you have a problem with your room they fix it immediately. They have 2 lovely cats named Gabi and Araw. The beds were comfy and the aircondition unit was not loud. They have free water and free ginger tea Cons They dont have wifi in the room, so you have to go down in the garden,in the restaurant area or waiting area, the problem was, there were a lot of mosquitoes and other insects. I wish they would just put mosquito coils around to repell them. On the room we stayed there's no direct sunlight and windows cannot really opened Overall it was lovely staying there
